Our second installment of the Sustainable Substitute series comes in handy in the winter months. Staying germ free and healthy is a priority and if you’re looking for a biobased product to help you this winter, Purell has multiple sustainable hand sanitizer gels.
Just one of the many sanitizers that Purell® offers is the PURELL® Advanced Hand Sanitizer Biobased Gel. The gel comes in different bottle sizes for all daily needs. A readily biodegradable formula, the sanitizing gel is made from a 100% naturally renewable plant-derived ethanol.
GOJO Industries, the inventor of Purell®, was among the first 11 companies approved by the USDA’s BioPreferred Program. This allowed them to start using the Certified Biobased Product label. In the future, Purell® is expecting to expand the amount of biobased products available.
Biobased products provide a sustainable substitute to petroleum-based products and help reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Use #Biobased Lifestyle to follow the campaign and to show us what biobased products you’re using to create a more sustainable future.
