The OSU Department of Chemistry, which includes over 40 faculty, now has a new Bruker microOTOF mass spectrometer to support OBIC researchers and industry collaborators. This technology, paired with the Bruker maldiTOF mass spectrometer featured last month, illustrate OBIC's new capacity to supporting cutting edge green chemistry and related fields.

As the past chair of the Ohio Agriculture to Chemicals, Polymers, and Advanced Materials Task Force, Doug O'Brien is someone you should know if you are interested in bioproducts. He is working closely with Ohio Department of Development to support the Ohio Jobs Stimulus program, including $50 million for bioproducts.
