BioIsoprene - New Alternative to Petroleum Based Isoprene Print E-mail

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, the worlds largest tire manufacturer, along with Genencor, a division of Danisco, are developing a bio-based process for manufacturing isoprene from renewable materials. Development of BioIsopreneä natural rubber will make the tire and rubber industry less dependent on petroleum based products. Read press release from Danisco.
